UNIDES “Environment and Climate” Special Call for Proposals is Now Open!


UNIDES 2026 Special Call: Environment and Climate Applications

The University Student Communities Cooperation and Support Program (UNIDES), implemented by the General Directorate of Youth Services of the Ministry of Youth and Sports, has launched a Special Call for Proposals on “Environment and Climate” in connection with the COP31 Turkey process.

During the UNIDES 2026 special call period, only projects in the field of “Environment and Climate” will be supported. Projects by university student communities and clubs aimed at raising environmental awareness, combating climate change, promoting sustainable living, environmental awareness, and strengthening youth participation in these areas will be supported during this special call period.

Applications must be submitted online by student communities/clubs approved by universities by September 18, 2026.

Projects focusing on environmental protection, combating climate change, sustainability, zero waste, recycling, and environmental awareness are eligible to apply.

The funding amounts are set at 75,000 TL + VAT for local projects and 125,000 TL + VAT for national projects.

Applications must be completed fully with the application form, commitment letter, student club document, board decision, budget form, and stakeholder form (if applicable).

Project submissions are made by members of student associations/clubs registered at the university by logging into the system via e-Devlet.

PRELIMINARY INFORMATION

Funding is not provided as cash transfers, but rather as in-kind support through the Ministry’s provincial directorates, covering the materials and logistics needed for the project.

For your budget to be approved under the UNIDES (University-Participatory Youth Projects Support Program), your expenditure plan must be cost-effective, realistic, and justified.

Budget Limits: A maximum of 75,000 TL can be requested for local projects, and 125,000 TL for national projects.

Justification (Expenditure) Form: A clear explanation must be written next to each requested item, such as “This material is necessary to obtain output Y in stage X of the project.” Vague statements will result in the budget being rejected.

Price Research: Market prices should be used when creating the budget, and proforma invoices or price screenshots should be readily available for system upload.

Alignment with the Timeline: The dates on which expenditures will be made must exactly match the activities in the project work-time plan (Gantt Chart).
