WHAT IS ZERO WASTE SYSTEM INSTALLATION?

The Zero Waste System is a 7-step roadmap consisting of the steps that companies, institutions or organizations must implement in order to be included in Zero Waste.

 

ZERO WASTE SYSTEM INSTALLATION STAGES

  1. Identification of Focal Points The persons who will be responsible for the establishment, effective and efficient implementation, monitoring, information flow and reporting of the zero waste management system in the organization are identified. These are the people who will lead the team that will ensure zero waste management.
  2. Determining the Current Situation When implementing the Zero Waste Management System in your organization, first of all, determining where you are in terms of waste and analyzing your current situation will make it easier for you to move forward.
  3. Planning At this stage, an organization-specific deadline plan is prepared based on the current situation.
  4. Identification of Needs and Procurement While implementing the Zero Waste System in the organization, all equipment that will be needed by taking into account each unit in the organization (such as offices, dining hall, infirmary) is identified, listed and procured before implementation.
  5. Training – Awareness Raising After the supply of equipment is completed, practical training and information activities are carried out for the target groups before implementation.
  6. Implementation The collection equipment provided is placed at appropriate intervals at points easily accessible to personnel. Information posters designed according to the equipment are hung above the equipment so that they can be easily seen. Color scale should be observed in the accumulation equipment and promotional materials.
  7. Reporting At this stage, monitoring is carried out by the working team in order to evaluate the effectiveness of the implementation, and if any, the failing aspects of the implementation, deficiencies or aspects to be improved are identified and measures are taken.
